The 1st Asian Indoor Games was unveiled in Bangkok on November 12. The flag raising ceremony of China-Macau Sport Delegation was held at indoor stadium Huamark Sport Complex at 11:00 Thailand time, presided over by Chef-de-Mission Manuel Silvério and deputy Chef-de-Mission Frederico Nolasco da Silva, together with 15 delegation representatives. In the ceremony, representatives of Thailand Olympic Committee expressed warm welcome to the China-Macau delegation before both parties exchanged souvenirs for that commemorative moment.
Under the leadership of OCA and with mutual respects and exchanges among each NOCs, I believe the youth in the Asia, and even the entire society, will benefit from regularly held sport events like as Asian Indoor Games said Manuel Silvério in his speech expressing his thank for the warm hospitality from the 1st Asian Indoor Games Organising Committee, volunteers and the Thai. The Chef-de-mission is expecting to warmly receive his counterparts in 2007 in Macau in return for their warm reception.
