Melton Sanchez R. and Ivan Dibos, representing Panama and Peru respectively in the International Olympic Committee, made a friendly visit to the Chairman of Board of Directors of MAIGOC, Manuel Silvério, at this office yesterday. Silvério showed a warm welcome to these IOC members who are enjoying their debut visit in Macao particularly for the 2nd Asian Indoor Games. The gentlemen are happy to be exposed to the sporting event where they not only enjoy the games but also have a closer look on Macao.
It was a friendly talk yesterday, where Silvério shared with his personal experience working in the sports circle and the preparation progress for the games, and looked forwards to further exchange and cooperation with these two countries. Sanchez and Dibos are both invited to the 2nd Asian Indoor Games Closing Ceremony tonight to witness the wonderful conclusion of the third grand event in Macao in recent three years.
