Only Hop, Step and Jump will do 2007-11-01  MAIGOC

The hopping legs from Men’s Triple Jump final were presented on the stage in Macau East Asian Games Dome this morning.

Just in few seconds, the momentum from one phase through the other until the end was displayed with a steady tempo. Chinese athlete Wu Bo amazingly made no “foul” and managed to make every single jump justifiably into the sand-filled box. His longest jump resulted in 16.45m, ranking the second between the Kazakh competitors, Valiyev Roman the winner and Ektov Yevgeniy the bronze medal holder.

Already jumped at 16.57m, the best jump among all athletes, at his second attempt, the title holder felt more confident to take his horizontal jump into a series of different but constant movements – a hop, a step and a final jump.
