After the Cultural Exchange Night previously held at the Macau Fisherman's Wharf, MAIGOC continues to present various cultural events for all the athletes and guests from the 45 participating countries and regions, to experience the blending of eastern and western cultures.

MAIGOC has arranged a series of performances in the Macau Fisherman's Wharf to entertain the guests and athletes, such as Chinese traditional music, Portuguese folk dance and other dancing shows. To give them a taste of interesting Chinese cultures, MAIGOC even specially set up some stalls of Chinese fortune-telling, calligraphy and asking Gods for oracles.

Chairman of Board of Directors Manuel Silvério of MAIGOC shows that sporting event is not only a platform for competition, but also a good chance for communication among nations. Delegates and athletes consider it a good opportunity to further understand different cultures and enhance friendship, and a good chance to illustrate the charms of the host city of Macau. The cultural activities will not end until November 2.
