Swimming day two

In a very exiting environment heated up by super fans and crowd entertainers the Olympic Aquatic Centre ended the second day of Short Course Swimming (25m) events. In the afternoon final events Hong Kong China Team took 3 Gold medals, 2 Silver and 4 Bronze showing of their swimmers and collecting the rewards of their work. The highlight of the day was definitely the Men and Women Freestyle Relay 4x100. In Women's category Hong Kong with a comfortable lead won by 3:43:00 seconds followed by Thailand, 3:47:15, and Korea, 3:53:34. As for Men’s category Kazakhstan recovered at 200m setting the lead in an easy victory against China and Hong Kong China teams.

As for Macau China Victor Wong won a Silver medal in Men's Butterfly 100m by beating Kazakhstan and losing against China at the last 50 meters of the race. Victor reached the finish line in 52.78 seconds, while Kazakhstan touch the border at 53.33 seconds and China beat the Asian Record at 51.91 seconds. “I was expecting to win but in the last meters China was better. The butterfly events are much more difficult”, said Victor. The Macau China athlete also thanked is coach and praised the cheering of the audience during his performance.
