Macao 2nd Asian Indoor Games Organising Committee (MAIGOC) smoothly went through the 2nd Asian Indoor Games Information Technology System Joint Test for nearly 10 hours simulating practice yesterday (28 September). During the Test, MAIGOC simulated the actual operation of over 10 official sport events at the same time, to test the coordination between IT personnel and mechanics. Resulted from the practice, 2AIG had gained important experience and assessment data.
Since the exploration and the test of Games Equipment & Application System (GEAS) have already finished, the facilities and Network systems at all venues are basically ready for use. Macao 2nd Asian Indoor Games Organising Committee (MAIGOC), CTM and the programming systems and facilities suppliers together launched the Information Technology System Joint Test yesterday. All the 17 official sports competitions were simulated, and 5 venues where the site competitions were held. According to the general rules of the international events, an all-system and all-round joint test for a sporting program can help inspect potential problems before the opening, such as the status and the coordination between soft and hard wares, the cooperation between staff, so that MAIGOC could resolve to problems and get better prepared before the Games.
Separately originated from MAIGOC, CTM and programming systems and facilities suppliers, more than 100 people have joined the 2nd Asian Indoor Games Information Technology System Joint Test. Equipment was tested included totally 46 servers, 104 PCs, 40 notebooks and 32 printers, as well as 5 competition venues included Macao East Asian Games Dome, Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion, Macao Stadium Pavilion, Bowling Centre and Macao International Shooting Range. MAIGOC is satisfied with the perfect outcome of the Joint Test, indicating that in accordance with the experience and data gained from the Test before the Games will help to continue enhancing the quality of the news announcement and Information Technology System during the Games.
MAIGOC has sent out the invitation of the Homologation Test on Result Systems of 17 official sports for the 2nd Asian Indoor Games to the Technical Delegates, receiving the approved certificates for the relevant systems from the Delegates after finishing the official sports system test and basically pass the Homologation Test. In the meantime, the 2nd Asian Indoor Games Information Technology Command Centre was officially launched on 25 September. Chairman of MAIGOC Manuel Silvério indicated that associating with the Joint Test, the three most important milestone of the Information Technology for the 2nd Asian Indoor Games are finished and are on the way to the Games, all staff are ready for the 2nd Asian Indoor Games.
