Manchester United attend Match Organizers’ Welcome Dinner 2007-07-22  MAIGOC

  In honour of the Manchester United Football Club arrival to Macao, Match Organising Committee Chairman Manuel Silvério has hosted a dinner at the Lua Azul restaurant at the Macau Tower. Among the guests are Manchester United CEO David Gill and club legend Sir Robert "Bobby" Charlton, received by Manuel Silvério also Chairman of Macao 2nd Asian Indoor Games Organising Committee (MAIGOC) and joint organiser Kaki Sports Chairman Yung Tse Sun, Tour organizer ProEvents Chairman Paul Kam.

  World Cup winner Sir Robert “Bobby” Charlton is one of the most famous English footballers, who became member of Manchester United's board of directors. After being awarded Commander of Order (CBE) in 1974, he established the Bobby Charlton Soccer and Sports Academy which cultivated the younger generations of footballers including former Manchester United player David Beckham.
