OCA Vice President Manuel Silvério set off yesterday for the 46th OCA Executive Board meeting on 3 August in Turkmenistan.
Invited by Saparmurat Turkmenbashi, President of Turkmenistan and Chairman of Turkmenistan NOC, OCA decided to host its Executive Board meeting in Ashgabat, capital of Turkmenistan. In the meeting, Manuel Silvério introduced his visit to East Timor in July, as assigned by OCA President HE Sheikh Ahmad Fahad Al-Sabah, as well as the inauguration of East Timor NOC headquarters there. Besides, Manuel Silvério also mentioned the OCA forums for Asian NOCs that he has hosted or joined in the previous half year. Last but not least, the progress on preparation of the 2nd Asian Indoor Games is among the topics of his presentation in the meeting.
Manuel Silvério will join OCA President in Kuwait this morning before they fly to Ashgabat today on a charter flight. Manuel Silvério is expected to return to Macao on 5 August after the meeting is concluded.
