During his trip to attend the closing ceremony of 1st Asian Indoor Games in Bangkok, the Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture of the Macao SAR, Fernando Chui Sai On, paid an official visit to the Vice Prime Minister of Thailand, Suwat Liptapallop. Opinions were exchanged in the meeting on the 1st Asian Indoor Games, which has given precious inspirations for the organization of the next edition of the Games.
Thailand has rich experience in hosting large-scale sport meets. In the official meeting, it was learned that the University Students Games and the Southeast Asian Games would be held in Thailand in 2007. Opinions were exchanged on the development and policies of sports in Macau and Thailand.
Participants of the meeting also included Chef-de-Mission of the China-Macau sport delegation of the 1st Asian Indoor Games and Chairman of the Board of Directors of MAIGOC Manuel Silvério, the former Vice President of OCA, Charouck Arirachakran, and the deputy President of Thailand Olympic Committee, Chaiyapak Siriwat. Both parties exchanged souvenirs in the meeting.
