Drawing for the 2AIG Cue Sports Operated Yesterday

　　The drawing for the 2AIG Cue Sports proceeded smoothly yesterday at the Headquarters of Macao 2nd Asian Indoor Games Organising Committee. MAIGOC Chairman Manuel Silvério and Director Sylvester Cheong, 2nd Asian Indoor Games Cue Sport Technical Delegate Joseph Lo and President of Macau Billiard Association (MBA) Philip Lam preside the ceremony together, to officially confirm teams sequence and finalizing competition schedule. International star players were amongst the athlete name lists including two top Silver and Gold Medalists of the Doha Asian Games last year, Chinese Player Pan Xiaoting for Women's 9-ball Pool Singles and Indian Player Advanz Pankaj Arjan for Men's English Billiards Singles, both are worth to pay attention to.

　　The 2nd Asian Indoor Games Cue Sports competitions will officially commence from 27 Oct to 2 Nov at the Macao International Convention Centre (Macao EAG Dome). The overall competition is composed of 8 events resulting in 8 medals, 5 of which are for the Men’s Events and 3 others for the Women’s Events. Participants for the Men’s Events include: 41 players for the Snooker Singles, 18 players for the English Billiards Singles, 47 players for the 9-ball Pool Singles and 12 players for the One-Cushion Carom Singles. Participants for the Women’s Events include: 12 players for the Snooker Singles, 18 players for the 8-ball Pool Singles and 20 players for the 9-ball Pool Singles. Teams from 18 countries and regions will compete in the champion of the Men’s Snooker Team event. A total of 154 athletes will participate in the 2nd Asian Indoor Games Cue Sports Competition.

　　The 2nd Asian Indoor Games will be hosted from 26 Oct to 3 Nov and the Games passes are distributed free to public during the Games Period. Residents and tourists can go to 5 CTM Shops, the Macao Stadium - Box Office (Taipa), and 3 Beijing 2008 Olympic Games Official Souvenir Shops (Shops at the Macau Fisherman’s Wharf, the Leal Senado Square and Ruins of St. Paul).
