Theinternationally renowned Venetian hotel will be the Official VIP Hotel,Hospitality Partner and Headquarters Hotel of the 2nd Asian IndoorGames to be held this October.At asigning ceremony yesterday with theOlympic Council of Asia (OCA) and the Macao 2007, 2nd Asian Indoor GamesOrganising Committee (MAIGOC), The VenetianMacao Resort Hotel signed on as OfficialPartner of the 2nd Asian Indoor Games.Under the agreement The Venetian Macao Resort Hotel will provide accommodation andcatering services to OCA and NOC members, VIPs, officials, sport federationsdelegates and government representatives.TheVenetian Macao Resort Hotel will also be the prestigious hosting venue ofthe 2nd Asian Indoor Games Closing Ceremony on 3 November 2007.

The Asian IndoorGames is an exciting multi-sport event created by OCA. The uniquesports meet is composed of sports that are not included in the Asian Games orthe Olympic Games but have strong popularity and potential. The program isaimed at encouraging a higher level of participation among the youth of Asia through a greater variety of sports that places emphasis on the leisureand entertainment aspects of the sport.
Organized biennially,the second edition of the Asian Indoor Games will be hosted in MacaoChina, commencing from 26 October to 3 November 2007, consisting of 17competing sports and 2 demonstration sports, with expected NOC participationfrom 45 countries throughout all regions of Asia.
