The Organizing Committee for the 2nd Asian Indoor Games (MAIGOC) and theOlympic Council of Asia (OCA) has signed a sponsorship agreement with Chinese'sleading online media company; SINA Corporation as the Official Sponsor andInternet Sponsor for Macau 2007.Underthe agreement, SINA wins the exclusive rights to host, develop and operate theOfficial Games website.
Director General of the Olympic Council of Asia(OCA) Mr. Husain Al-Musallam expressed confidence in the collaboration, whichhe added "We are very pleased to have entered into this agreement withSINA, the most recognized internet brand name in China.As the Indoor Games aims to encourage ahigher level of sport participation among the youth of Asia,the internet is a key platform to share the vision of the OCA and spread thenews of the Games to ensure greater awareness, participation and support".
SINA has been recognized as the most popularwebsite in Chinaand among Chinese communities globally.With230 million registered users worldwide and a record 500 million daily pageviews, the partnership will provide MAIGOC with the most comprehensive reach.In addition to website production,development and operations of the official Games website, SINA will also provide technical support, webdesign, advertising platform, web hosting, flow statistics, back-end system andrelated technical services.

Organized biennially, the second edition of the AsianIndoor Games will be hosted in Macao China, commencing from 26 October to 3November 2007, consisting of 17 competing sports and 2 demonstration sports, withexpected NOC participation from 45 countries throughout all regions of Asia.
