MAIGOC launches the Accreditation Program on 1 June

  As one of the importantareas for the hosting of the Macau 2007, 2nd Asian Indoor Games thiscoming 26 October to 3 November, the Macao2nd Asian Indoor Games Organising Committee (MAIGOC) is receiving Accreditationrequests of all participants for the Games.

  Starting from today until13 July, MAIGOC will accept accreditation application for all categories. It ispredicted that the Organising Committee will be receiving more than 12,000 fromteam officials and athletes from 45 OCA member national Olympic Committees,technical officials from 22 International and Asian Sports Federations,international sports officials and media from all over the world. Accreditationis divided into 12main categories in accordance with the constitution andregulations of OCA. Different colors will be applied to distinct the 12categories, to ensure the appropriate provision of services including security,hospitality, and catering.

  In addition, base on theexperiences of the ‘Macau 2005, 4th East Asian Games’ and the ‘Macau2006, 1st Lusofonia Games,’ MAIGOC is providing an all-newaccreditation procedure. After accreditation application is approved, theparticipant will receive a ‘Pre-Valid AD Card’ and can complete the validationprocedures as soon as they arrived in Macao at the Main Accreditation Centre,Accreditation Centre at Headquarters Hotel, Accreditation Counters at InternationalAirport, the Macao Ferry Terminal, and the Border Gate from 3 October to 3 November,2007. After the validation, MAIGOC will issue the AD Card to the bearers. The‘Pre-Valid AD Card’ can be used as a visa for non-citizens participants’ entryto Macao.
