The Macao East Asian Games Dome Ice Rink is goingto reopen from 23 March to 31 August for 162 days. The Ice Rink was a welcomeleisure spot for the general public and visitors since its opening between April and August lastyear. According to statistics， the venue has accumulated more than 56，000entries during the season with a daily record of over 400 headcounts.
Considering that the Ice Rink is a favorable spot of leisure andrecreation of the local youths and visitors， the Macau 2nd Asian Indoor GamesOrganising Committee（MAIGOC）immediately starts launching its preparation andinstallation of facilities for the reopening of the Ice Rink soon after the 1st Lusofonia Games and the Macau 2007， Asian Indoor Athletics InvitationTournament which was finished earlier in February. In addition， with a capacity of morethan a hundred seats， the food court located besidethe Ice Rink will also be in service during the periodto provide a better place for the users to relax.
The opening hours of the Ice Rink will be as thefollowing: 11:00am ~ 10:00pm from Mondays toFridays and 10:30am ~ 10:00pm on Saturdays， Sundays and public holidays. Admission fee remains a flat rate of Mop 20.00 per person. For theusers’ convenience， MAIGOC is providing free shuttle bus service travelingbetween the bus stations of Greenville（near Hotel Taipa Macau） and the main entrance of the Macao East Asian Games Dome.
